Hearing Loss and Ear Related Disorders

Approximately 30 million or 10% of people living in the US have a hearing disorder. The identification and management of these individuals can greatly improve their quality of life. A full audiological assessment performed by a licensed and certified audiologist using properly calibrated equipment in a sound treated room is essential for accurately determining the type and degree of hearing loss a person has. When properly identified, many of these individuals could benefit from medical or surgical intervention or the use of an appropriately fit hearing aid or assistive device. The medical and audiological staff at Colden ENT, have a combined 40 years of experience working with individuals with hearing loss and use the industry’s most advanced diagnostic tools and treatments to identify and treat hearing loss.

Balance Disorders

Dizziness remains one of the most common complaints in medicine today and one of the most difficult to accurately diagnose and treat. The staff at Colden ENT and Allergy utilizes years of experience with vestibular disorders and employs the most current technology to identify the problem and initiate appropriate therapy. When you arrive you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire which will enable us to focus on certain symptoms. Vestibular testing may be recommended in our state of the art testing facility. Regardless of the diagnosis, our physicians will be able to help you make a speedy recovery through medicine, physical therapy, surgery or other therapies.
